International Centre of Culture
Rynek Główny 25, Cracow, tel. (+48 12) 424 28 11-12, www.mck.krakow.pl

Presentation of 58 oil pictures of the most distinguished American impressionists from the collection The Irvine Museum - artists for whom the most important issue was glorification of nature and its beauty. In the first years of XX century, impressionism found particularly favourable conditions in California. So picturesque places like Laguna Beach, San Diego or Monterey became an artistic colony.

In the exhibition, the first time in Poland, there will be presented works among others of such artists like: Franz A. Bischoff (1864-1929), Guy Rose (1867-1925), Colin Campbell Cooper (1856-1937), Granville Redmond (1871-1935), Meta Cressey (1882-1964), Alson S. Clark (1867-1949), William Wendt (1865-1946), Alfred R. Mitchell (1888-1972).
