For the first time this kind of event is directed to artists from all the European countries.

The main goal of the European Art Award is to discover and promote original and new artistic talents in Europe.

The Jury, which includes well known artists from many European countries, will equally judge both the work of professionals and the painters, which do not have artistic education.

This is a one of a kind European festival, which presents all the stage work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concerts will take place on a daily basis in the Theatre of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, in Palace on the Water in the Łazienki Park and in the Ballroom of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

The best artists of the European contemporary jazz on the polish stage.

The event will take place in Congress and Concert Hall of PKiN (Palace of Culture and Science) and at the Royal Castle (Plac Zamkowy).     The Warsaw Summer Jazz Days are held to promote contemporary jazz no matter of its origins or background, with all its creativity and new artistic approach. Its specific character of mass event on the Plac Zamkowy at the Royal Castle with no charge for entrance at one day and the great prestigious final with all the worlds jazz stars in Congress Hall at the next day, makes the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days the most important jazz attraction in Poland. In the previous years at the WSJD performed such artists as: John Zorn, Joe Zawinul, Marcus Miller, Pharoah Sanders, Vernon Reid, John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Steps Ahead, Joe Pass, Steve Coleman, Modern Jazz Quartet, Al Jarreau, Al Di Meola, Herbie Hancock, Bela Fleck, Dave Holland, Candy Dulfer, Gil Evans Orchestra, Joshua Redman, Pat Metheny, Bill Laswell, James Carter, Michael Brecker,  Bobby McFerrin, James Blood Ulmer, Ronald Shannon Jackson, Branford Marsalis, Wayne Shorter and many more.

Big festival of regional brass bands. You can hear beautiful and strong sound of various traditional wind instruments. At the end of the event there is a great parade on Chełmno streets. The night brass bands concert is considered to be the most attractive part of the event.

The exhibition takes place in 35 countries of the world annually. The World Press Photo Foundation organizes it for the 46 time and each year there is more and more visitors interested in it. This year 4 thousand press photographers from 118 different countries have presented around 53 thousands photos. Only 2 weeks after the 2003 exhibition premiere in Amsterdam you are able to visit it in Poznań and see the awarded photos.
